INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING

Oil-fired boilers should be installed and commissioned by a qualified engineer. The commissioning engineer will ensure your boiler is set to perform at its optimum in terms of fuel efficiency and emissions. An incorrectly commissioned boiler would result in higher fuel costs, increase maintenance and a reduced boiler life.






SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

Firebird recommends that its oil boilers are serviced annually by a qualified engineer.
 

Our Warranty Policy
 

OIL-FIRED BOILERS

Firebird offers 5 years warranty on the boiler shell and 2 years warranty on all other parts from date of installation, provided installation has occurred within 12 months from date of purchase. This warranty is subject to our warranty terms and conditions shown on this website.

To validate your boiler warranty the commissioning part of the Boiler Passport must be completed and returned to Firebird Service Department within 10 working days.

The boiler must be commissioned by an OFTEC or suitably qualified engineer. The boiler passport commissioning form can also be complete online at this link

SOLAR

Firebird offers 5 years warranty on the flat plate and vacuum tube solar collectors and 2 years warranty on all other parts from date of installation, provided installation has occurred within 12 months from date of purchase.




BIO-MASS BOILERS

Firebird offers 5 years warranty on the boiler shell and 2 years warranty on all other parts from date of installation, provided installation has occurred within 12 months from date of purchase.
